It has been about 10 years since I attended my first Beth Moore conference in Charleston, West Virginia. I have to say I love going with a group of ladies to women’s conferences. I enjoy the girl time, learning and growing in my faith, and a break away from day to day life.
I remember when Beth shared Ephesians 3:20 that day. I can tell you that it struck me at my very core. I was standing up when she was sharing this scripture verse and I remember that I started to cry uncontrollably. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all that we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is within us.”
You may be wondering why I was crying uncontrollably, as were the people that were standing around me. At that moment I realized that God had already done more than I could ask or imagine in my life and his word says there is MORE!
At that point I had published my first book and had a speaking ministry, two things that I would haveve never thought possible, and His word says there is more!
Let’s not lose sight of who is able. It doesn’t say that Ami is able, or that you are able; it says that God is able to do immeasurably MORE than we ask or imagine according to His power. It’s not our power, but His power, that is at work within us.
As you reflect on your life and acknowledge all that God has done, take a moment to grasp that His word says there is MORE! He is not done with us yet. We are not done growing, serving, ministering, and sharing God’s love and word with the world around us.
Let our hearts be open and our minds be trusting, and let our feet not get stuck in our comfort zone, so that we can receive the immeasurably MORE that God has in store for our lives.

As I read this, and feast on the word, "more" it gives peace and joy. Peace to "be still and know that He is God" (Ps. 46:10) If I don't want to wait on His timing I am limiting His glory in my life. Joy comes when I am obeying Him with growing faith that He is at work whether I see it or not. So thank you for this blog and beautiful word, "more".
Bless you,

Lucy, thank you for your kind comments and wonderful insight, I especially like what you said about "If I don't want to wait on His timing, I am limiting His glory in my life." That is so true and so relevant in all of our lives.
Thanks again for your comment,
Ami
